A community will arise recognizing the "best" prompters. Their work will be indistinguishable from one another's. They'll pilfer, "remix," and keep consuming and regurgitating what "works." But no Truffauts, Welleses, Gerwigs, or Campions will emerge. These prompters will eventually be fired.

No water cooler conversation the next day or online discussion. Even if people can share "their" films, there'll be no common ground. I suspect most people will keep their magnum opus involving faux Scarlett Johansson fighting terrorists and bedding a hero who kinda looks like them to themselves.

That's key: the lack of surprise. They'll quickly feel nothing as they watch dead-eyed "actors" engaging in the same old action and sex scenes. No one will prompt for drama—whatever AI produces...by comparison, Hallmark Christmas movies will seem like Rashomon and Citizen Kane.

As a writer, I've learned very few people want to read, much less write. These people will eventually cede writing prompts to AI. There'll be checklists, but these will vanish as AI decides what they'll watch based on previous viewing. Entertainment is based on surprises. This will vanish.
