Pet food is usually not covered by SNAP (depending on where you are), but needing to cover more groceries may take up what you would have spent on it. Many animal shelters have pet food pantries, so check your local if you're struggling to feed your pets.

I can recommend Pocketcasts for podcasts. It's one of the only apps I'm willing to pay for because a good podcast app is important to me, but I'm pretty sure the experience is good even for free users.
