I said I was going to open my yarn advent like a normal person this year.

I didn’t. I opened the whole thing today. And I’m so excited for my December project!

Today was the first day since, like, February where the high temp didn’t get above 70. Damnit Florida, stop making me think you’re a nice place to live

So excited to move on to sleeves and the body for my Sheep Camp sweater. It feels so good finding the right use for some old stash yarn I’ve been holding on to for almost a decade.

The late Thanksgiving is throwing me off this year. I came into work this morning fully expecting it to be a short week because it’s the third full week of November.

My brain can’t reconcile “fourth Thursday” with “third full week.” How tf did I make that association when I know better?

There are some posts going around on threads about getting shamed for using cheap yarn.

I have been shamed multiple times by multiple people IRL for using EXPENSIVE yarn. It goes both ways. Why can’t we just let people knit with what they like? Stop being judgy MFers and just focus on knitting 🙄
