‘The Little Sister’ Film Review: A Strong Directorial Effort from Hafsia Herzi The introductory section of Hafsia Herzi’s The Little Sister (La petite dernière) is slightly alienating, as it swiftly moves from one scene to the next, without an anchor point for the audience to la...

Hafsia Herzi returns behind the camera with the profoundly affecting THE LITTLE SISTER, and positions Nadia Melliti as an actor to watch after the staggering breakout turn that garnered her the Best Actress win at last year's Cannes.

‘Primate’ Review: Ring In the New Year with a Nasty Creature Feature Who would’ve thought that the first studio production of the year would be a genuine heater, especially given that the January slate doesn’t usually promise a good time at the movies? Who would’ve als...

#PrimateMovie rips (literally) -- the nastiest studio horror feature I've seen in ages, inching (very) close to being considered an exploitation film. Biggest compliment it could get. A genuine genre heater.

Dog 51 Film Review: A Real Dog While Dog 51 contains stunning cinematography and solid performances, its grab-bag of underdeveloped ideas sinks its ambitious proposition.

Cédric Jimenez brings some intriguing ideas to the table with an adaptation of Laurent Gaudé's #Dog51, but this dystopian sci-fi thriller seems more like a grab-bag of interesting stuff than an actual film with meat around the bone.

Alessio Pasquali AKA Al Patrickson, Lonely Abandoned Beagle, Gold Searcher, Star Catcher, Frog Eater, ElioHypeGuy, blackcat32, Tough Luck, Soup Eater, Shiny LightBulb, and other burner accounts I don't know about lol

I wouldn't be proud of telling people to kill themselves over not seeing a film, but that's just me

You block him, two more burner accounts will suddenly pop up on your notifications in perpetuity. Guy is unstoppable (and in serious need of professional help)

I never said that at all. I never thought that at all.

The Mandalorian and Grogu looks like total dogshit, but that's a story for another time.

No it's not. Then again, I don't expect people who don't possess any analytical skills to comprehend my writing.

I also never claimed Mando & Grogu used the volume.

As you can see, I said the volume AND The Mandalorian and Grogu.

Can you read, JEFF?

I'm not the one creating endless burners to harass/threaten people and tell them to kill themselves over a movie, Jeff.

Jesus Christ, Alessio, don't you have anything better to do than create endless burner accounts to harass people?

You seriously need to seek professional help. I wonder what your parents will think of this...

Also, Jeff.

#BlackPhone2 fucking rules. The kind of sequel that, on paper, shouldn't really work, but actively pulls you into its thrilling Super 8 nightmares with a formal edge over the first installment that quickly made everything *far more* exciting. Surprisingly very funny, too. Give me five more.

a race car is driving down a track and the year 2005 is on the bottom ALT: a race car is driving down a track and the year 2005 is on the bottom

#F1Movie is the year's best film. A leap forward in digital filmmaking through its 155-minute succession of slack-jawed, "How in the fuck did they do that?" moments with a self-reflexive turn from Brad Pitt that immediatly recalls Old Hollywood stars we no longer get. Kosinski is a real talent.

Movie Review: ’28 Years Later’ Sets The Stage For Possible Greatness | InSession Film 28 YEARS LATER shows the artifice of film and a beautiful beginning.

For @insessionfilm.bsky.social I reviewed Danny Boyle's #28YearsLater, a piece of post-digital filmmaking so inventive it must be seen to be believed. It also contains Alex Garland's best script since 2015, even if he can get a bit bizarre at times.
