And I'd add to the list deregulation. Which is less about eliminating so-called "inefficiencies" than about stripping away protections for people at the bottom of the hierarchy and denying them any legal recourse.

Basically, my beef with the "abundance" bros is that deregulation doesn't guarantee: 1) that there will be more, or 2) that the more will go to those who need it most. In fact, history tells us that the privileged tend to use deregulation as an opportunity to hoard most of the more for themselves.
