However, if I hadn't been forced to bullshit a lot of essays 15 minutes before class I wouldn't have learned that I enjoy writing. The moral is to destroy both ChatGPT and homework.

13.03.2025 22:27 β π 9361 π 1247 π¬ 500 π 77Itβs over a 100 years after the great Jewish crusader for free speech, Emma Goldman, was deported from USA for her speaking out. Yet history repeats itself.
People shouldnβt be deported for speaking out.
People shouldnβt be deported for speaking out.
We mustnβt stay silent.
Indeed, a White House official told The Free Press that the basis for targeting Khalil is being used as a blueprint for investigations against other students. Khalil is a "threat to the foreign policy and national security interests of the United States," said the official, noting that this calculation was the driving force behind the arrest. "The allegation here is not that he was breaking the law," said the official.
NEW: White House says the arrest and deportation of student activist & legal US resident, Mahmoud Khalil, is a blueprint for more.
The final line here is chilling. The White House specifically says Khalil was not breaking the law.
No evidence, no due process, no crime. He was just disappeared.

03.03.2025 17:02 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ori Fienberg ------------ Every Special Offer is a Special Celebration My inbox offers true meaning, but settles for swing and splash savings. Today is earth day in unseen ecosystems hidden on our bodies and currents of dust beneath our beds. The face can not be trusted over top products for hydration or beach properties. You'd be amazed what a savvy investor can do with five dollars; you'd be foolish not to backfill a narrow lot with all past savings on eco-conscious art supplies, with a plethora of prickled ferns, with the best seat in the house, with the worst song ever heard, but we can celebrate reasons, operations, passports, or every surcharge. Beauty is the cost of excellence, of longer lasting knives, of better business and custom canvas prints, but you are beautiful: can be beautiful as a payment: complete: clean. I'm thrilled to have two poems, alongside so many poets whose work I admire, in the latest issue of Smartish Pace.
I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.
Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. Itβs not intellectually superior. Itβs the virus theyβre trying to infect us with. NO
"But thereβs something sinister about the way brands keep finding bigger, flashier ways to repurpose great moments in art to sell products" is a thing I wrote about a mayonnaise ad because I am in a normal and cool state of mind www.eater.com/24354679/whe...
