Ow the whiplash

I learned so much this month editing a novel extract I wrote in the early noughties. Lots of trauma happened in between. It conjured up a lost version of me, living in a woodland community. Went from confidence in the writing to loathing to fierce hope through ruthless cuts. It's reborn!

This is interesting. I don't edit my poetry enough. After my last uni assignment I feel like I learned so much about editing prose, maybe I can learn to edit my poetry too..

By now Washington has betrayed all their friends and allies.

Humiliation. Threatening with annexation. Extortion. False accusations.
