CSCU unions call for more funding for higher ed as session nears CSCU union members have been vocal about budget impacts, including recent staff reductions and cuts to campus services and programs.

“It’s time to restore the promise for our students, fund our schools, protect our services, and above all, invest in our faculty who make this education possible” -- CSU-AAUP and the 4Cs on the CT budget for Connecticut State Universities and Community Colleges on Thursday.

Happy to announce (unless the rest of the XC overrides this decision, which, c'mon) that we are saying THANK YOU NEXT to the hell site. We're here full time. Let's gooooo.

Our chapter is happy to announce our work on proposed Faculty Governance Reforms, the goal of which is to empower our faculty to become true co-governors of the university: advise on TT hiring, oversee budgets, and ensure equitable salaries. ✊✊ www.wesleyanaaup.org/governance-r...

This is real, unfortunately. Since the start of the school year, we have had to fill out one of these for literally every speaker and event at my 11yo's school, even if she doesn't have to leave the classroom. That includes visiting the scholastic book fair display
