The problem with reading books about almost all modern tech companies is that you can't find anyone to like. It's like being bitten by a cobra and deciding to respect and admire it for its speed and fearsomeness.

Actually, that's a terrible analogy. Cobras are much more likable than tech CEOs.

I had that happen once where all cameras wouldn’t stream but WOULD thumbnail and in my case, rebooting the Apple TV acting as the home hub fixed it. Honestly, I have to reboot that stupid thing a LOT for Home app issues

I greatly dislike the fragility of the Eufy homebase/Apple Home connection that requires me to reboot one or both to get the cameras working in the home app again.

No, Apple, I KNOW that camera isn't inactive because I just looked at it in the eufy app, you utter POS.

Now that I have my photos site to at least a workable state, I'm going to start sorting and processing my Japan photos.

I thought I took tons of photos, and I did take several hundreds, but I should have taken MILLIONS!

But I also was staying present and having a blast with my daughter. 🙂

The personal site was just thrown up there with example images so now I can begin the fun of putting all my real photos up (especially from my Japan trip)

I've integrated PhotoSwipe (https://photoswipe.com/) in Astro (https://astro.build/), complete with photo captions.

It's not perfect and a lot of modifying could be done, but I'll put it up on a public repo soon (I need to make a version that doesn't have my photos in it).
