Let's say DC does Wednesday Comics again. What characters and creative teams do you want for it? 16 slots, just like the original. #comics

I read Cole’s biography years ago and I think he actually worked on the Spirit for a little bit (could be misremembering) but he created midnight after this and it’s very spirit like. Must get that collection as my old copies of the collections they did in the 90’s are lost to time and moving πŸ˜€

Some recents reads. Just back from holiday so enjoyed the top three in the sun. Oddly I’ve managed to bring all but the first Astro city trades while on holiday the last few years.

I’ve really being enjoying these posts so thanks for sharing them. This period is an odd one for me as I used to buy comics in a market so they’d always be a year or so behind but the guy I bought from had just closed as he was getting ready to open a shop so I wasn’t getting any books..

Hello my friends.
Today we're going to explore a niche topic regarding well.. the end.

Specifically The End of Marvel Comics.

As usual reposts and quotes are highly appreciated as bluesky is built around those.

Let's begin our journey ... or perhaps end it?

That mudpack story was great. I remember it had a brilliant secret origins issue that led into it too. Great era for the Batman books

Bowser: I will do it again! You can’t stop me!

Mario:

Mario: Still on for go-karting this weekend?

Bowser: Of course, right after we play golf.

That series blew my mind when it came out. I was too young for 80’s Moore so this was my intro to him

I went on a big mcgregor kick in the 90’s and remember reading this and really enjoying it. However I didn’t remember Rodger’s being the artist so not sure what that says about my memory πŸ˜‚
