I read Cole’s biography years ago and I think he actually worked on the Spirit for a little bit (could be misremembering) but he created midnight after this and it’s very spirit like. Must get that collection as my old copies of the collections they did in the 90’s are lost to time and moving 😀

Some recents reads. Just back from holiday so enjoyed the top three in the sun. Oddly I’ve managed to bring all but the first Astro city trades while on holiday the last few years.

At this point but that was going to change very soon as my real collecting kicked off in August or so of that year.

I’ve really being enjoying these posts so thanks for sharing them. This period is an odd one for me as I used to buy comics in a market so they’d always be a year or so behind but the guy I bought from had just closed as he was getting ready to open a shop so I wasn’t getting any books..

That series blew my mind when it came out. I was too young for 80’s Moore so this was my intro to him

I went on a big mcgregor kick in the 90’s and remember reading this and really enjoying it. However I didn’t remember Rodger’s being the artist so not sure what that says about my memory 😂
