This is a good speech by Poilievre.

It felt too good to be true but the more the votes come in, the harder it is to deny.

It is so bizarre that Pierre Poilievre didn't lean harder into his background and upbringing. It is a genuinely fascinating story and I do agree that it is a story you could only see play out in Canada.

One thing that I think is important to remember is that governments generally do what they say they are going to do.

It's fun to say that campaign promises are just words, but if a party says it's going to do something, it's more likely than not that they will do that thing if they win power.
