As you may know, I have stopped using Twitter, and have decided to reproduce some of my more memorable threads here for posterity. Here’s one I hold wrote after a particularly engaging swordfighting lesson.

Yeah hopefully. I'd guess the Isak deal has been agreed a while and club were waiting to be happy to do it. Either they think Nick is enough, or that they're close enough to getting the second striker in to get the ball rolling on Isak...hopefully it's the latter.

I don't see him as a midfield enforcer, but have said all along he reminds me of joelinton as a striker in that he grafts, gets stuck in, but just doesn't look like a natural goalscorer to me. Being reborn in a different role is a possibility, though I suspect more as a wide forward.

Agree. I think Wissa is the better 'Wilson replacement' if Nick is the long term answer. Jackson would have been preferred if we hadn't signed Nick as the 'Isak replacement'.

I wasn't born or raised in London, and though I have visited it briefly on a couple of occasions, I do not consider myself a Londoner.
So this definition tracks with me too.
