Okay, I see it now. We don't have anything like this in the UK.

In the UK it would be facing opposite to the direction of travel, so the vehicle wouldn't be able (or need) to see the stop sign. But I'm guessing from the comments it has stop written on both slides? I'm not sure how that would work...unless, is it attached to the bus? I can't see from this angle.

I'm not familiar with US driving laws.

In fairness, I wouldn't have been able to react fast enough to stop either. But I likely would have been driving slower.

The EHRC has given people just 6 weeks to make their voices heard in its consultation on how trans people should use facilities and services in public places. I asked the govt to push for this to be extended so everyone affected is able to input - disappointed by the response.
