I always have a day to take care of business and make appointments.

The downside is that I work Saturdays, and I am busy all day on Mondays due to the number of appointments and tasks I need to complete.

I hope that I can get back to reading longer books sometime this year. They are so many good books that I am missing and I’m sad about it.

The biggest inaccuracy movies taught us is that villains are cool. Not talking about the moral aspects, just that they would look and act stylishly. Real world evil is so frequently dorky, schlubby and banal.

With Handmaids Tale people focus on the shock of the mass rapes in the book and the show.

But how the regime came to be in power in that book keeps me awake at night because it is playing out in very intricate detail in our real lives right now.
