A reference of Brainjack in his alt mode. Said alt mode is a blend of an ornithopter and a wasp, with the vehicle's landing gear replaced with legs, and a long tail sprouting from the back with a large needle on the end.

Shockwave was not concerned with appearances. Only results.
And the Insecticon project produced plenty.

(I just remembered that I'd made a reference for this #transformers alt mode as well. I don't often draw machines or make references, so it was fun!)

a reference sheet for Asphodel, a Cassette Beasts OC. it's a ranger captain, uses it/its and she/her pronouns, is 5'1", around 23 years old, and is transgender, on the aromantic spectrum, and is bisexual. it has images of her cassette player, its headphones, its main tapes, an edit of her in-game sprite, and a central image of her. she's drawn posing holding up two of its fingers, sticking its tongue out. her cassette player is pink and purple, while its headphones are plain grey. its in-game sprite is edited to have its pink tail and ears, as well as its gloves and LED eyes. the list of its tapes are of Scarleteeth, a Glitter bootleg Tokusect, an Astral bootleg Ramtasm, a Metal bootleg Blossomaw, a Plant bootleg Southpaw named Gnarp Gnarp, and Wyrmaw. its signature tape is listed as Scarleteeth, and its mockup stats show it with a heavy lean in Melee Attack compared to every other stat.

A massive figure resembling a marble statue in a monochrome room. The statue has fallen to one knee, body breaking apart and oozing ink, and its face appears to be melting downwards. (Given that a good chunk of #cassettebeasts main bosses are weird abstract monsters, it was only a matter of time before I tried making one of my own. Marble is really fun to paint.)

A large centaur-like creature made of blue crystal stomps forward. It has one eye and claws for arms, with molten gold covering its back, legs, and hooves. Wings protrude from its back.

A small monochrome insect creature flaps its wings quickly. Its body is in the shape of a pterosaur but has the features of a mosquito, such as insectoid wings and legs, antenna, and a large abdomen filled with red fluid.

A large scorpion-like creature made of blue crystal marches forward. Its claws, eyes, and stinger are tinged with a darker violet, and it has antenna that end in the same colour.

A worm made of blue crystal inches forward. It has six legs, a wiggly body, and a head with two large cannon-like protrusions on either side as well as long antenna. Patches of its body and head are detailed with translucent pink, making it look like it has a visor on.

It's probably high time for an update on this project, so here's some more of Fornacis-C's native fauna!

A dragon that resembles a carved marble statue is leaping up onto a cliff. It has a golden underbelly and eyes with veins of gold all over it's body, as well as gold flowing up over its feet to form claws. Its spines appear to be made of a brilliant blue crystal.

They'd written off the nest as lost, buried by magma and crushing pressure.
But life finds a way.

This looks amazing! How did you get the blank cassettes, if I might ask? I've been trying to find more since my brother's been experimenting with them, but no luck.
