Saw a TikTok today of a woman who went to the doctor for a biopsy, and when the results came back, confidently announced that she didn't believe the results, because she had described her condition to ChatGPT, and it had a different opinion.

GenAI would be the opposite of helpful in a data situation where it's important to get exactly the data as recorded by instruments and not create data based on past statistical majority which will be the safe limits data, so it will never report a change in data reflecting a potential problem!

I don't claim to be perfect or to have no regrets about any past behaviour or political stances (especially when I was drinking more) but there was never a point in my life where I could have been reasonably described as a Nazi. People who can't say that should experience at least some shame.

I've said thsi before but the normalisation of the concept of the "Nazi phase" is grim as fuck. Most people do not have a phase of their life where they are Nazis actually. Fascism is not a fucking developmental stage, it's an ideology that you choose to engage with.

it is darkly funny that "trillion dollar computer oracle that will never work" is good and inevitable technology and "inexpensive hormonal treatments which completely transform the human body" is bad technology to be banished like witchcraft

At this point it really doesn't matter what new additional tariffs president dumbass announces because increasing rates have sharply diminishing returns. A 30% across-the-board tariff basically makes that country's products unmarketable in the US so adding another 10% doesn't actually do anything
