Good afternoon, I have never before reached out to speak to anyone in this manner, but I was so disappointed that it compelled me to do so. You have become one of my favorite authors over the last year or so and I have listened to most of your series, which I truly enjoy. I have a very high stress job, and often listen to audiobooks(2-3 per a week) while at work to help decompress. To me a book is a way to remove myself from my present day stress and jump into the world of the characters and relax my brain, as I try to figure out who the bad guys are and who the heros are. It is meant to be fun and entertaining. Lately you have shifted your writing to include real world political views and your believes. To be honest I do not care if you are white black purple or pink, have no hate or love if you are republican or democrat, and dont give a flying hoot if you are straight, gay, bi, or trans. In my opinion love is love and humans are humans. With less hate the world would be a much happier place. My only issue is that you are taking my happy time and my love of story telling and pushing political beliefs into it. Yes this is a political series, but to be honest I would not have known any of your political beliefs in the first 10 books of this series as the main subject was the characters. Unfortunately, in the last 3 it became blantly obvious, and very disappointing. Everywhere you look now a days it is about someone thoughts and beliefs and why their ideas are right and yours are incorrect. It is not supposed to be in my books as those are my happy place. I believe that if you feel as passionately as you obviously do about your political views you could write a non-fiction and I guarantee that people will buy it and read it.
