To it existing regardless and only being used to create GenAI and the shit that goes with it. If/when the bubble bursts I won't be sad to it go but will perhaps look back at what it could have achieved before it became what it is.

The normalisation you refer to seems to be, to me at least, things such as ChatGPT and that ilk... I have no truck with them and never will.

I agree that the environmental cost is terrible... But, AI is here... Using it as a support (and only that) to industry and research is infinitely better

Whilst maintaining artistic and employment integrity is at least something of use.
I am aware that many creatives have had their property "stolen" and I abhor that... But to label all uses of AI as something negative is, in my insignificant opinion, wide of the mark.

So AI being used to spot cancers etc is unethical?
As for destroying the environment, people and companies do that daily in a thousand other ways, all of which should be addressed... I aren't saying AI is perfect (far from it) but it exists regardless. Using it to support a small business

From what I read, the AI is supporting, not replacing anyone and is not being used as a creative tool to design minis. I am not a fan at all of AI being used to create content in any form but this is not that... Not sure what your point is?
