ICE does seem to be using the term detention for every case in which they kidnap people. If you are taken away in a car in handcuffs, it’s hard for me to imagine it as anything other than arrest. That is what I was alluding to also.

They never read Miranda during “detention”, only “arrest”. I’ve seen hundreds of videos from all over the country.

Now, I have a serious problem with the looseness of “detention”.
