That has lightened my spirit enormously. It will help me declutter our tiny house (downsized from a 5 bed villa to a 2 bed cottage). Thank you.
14.11.2025 13:31 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I did have a spate a while back of surgeons, vets and US Army officers following me who were all very keen on God and getting to know me. I blocked the lot of them as I'm a happily married heathen ๐ I never had any with topless pics though, I'm feeling slightly aggrieved.
14.11.2025 12:45 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Bonjour Cats et mes ORCs from just north of Bordeaux, overlooking a cemetery. Neighbours were quiet, the bin lorry less so! Off to park in a vineyard and have a wine tasting this evening, then rolling home to Normandie tomorrow to wash everything, then we go again next Weds. Happy Friday, all.

13.11.2025 19:34 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Shades of the dreaded Platform 13 at Manchester Piccadilly. Hello from the French/Spanish border, at Canfranc, which has a magnificent station (now a hotel) but no passenger rail line. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canfran...

13.11.2025 08:17 โ ๐ 78 ๐ 9 ๐ฌ 4 ๐ 0Hola from Estacion Can Franc, on the France/Spain border in the Pyrenees. V windy but not cold. It has a magnificent but ultimately unused railway station (landslide blocked the line and was never repaired). It's now a swanky hotel, way beyond our budget! On to Bordeaux today. Have a great day, all.
13.11.2025 08:41 โ ๐ 7 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Hola from Peniscola. Met up with festival friends, had a lovely menu del dia at a nearby restaurant which was insanely good value at โฌ18 for 3 courses and wine. They start their year of living in Spain while we head to the border today in the Pyrenees - a long drive ahead. Have a great day, all.

there have been many James Bonds, there may even be multiple James Bonds existing at the same time without knowledge of the others (it's spycraft after all)
But that's not as funny ๐
11.11.2025 10:09 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Hola Cats and ORCs from Moncofa, an odd half finished town with great roads and street lighting but no apartment blocks yet. On to Peniscola (yes you are allowed to giggle) today to meet up with festival friends who are full-time vanlifers. Have a great day, all.

10.11.2025 14:31 โ ๐ 40 ๐ 8 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Well it was 4 degrees overnight here up in the hills, but the motorhome gets warm quite quickly when we put the heater on. It's going to be about 20 degrees at the coast, so I'm looking forward to putting my puffa jacket away temporarily!
10.11.2025 11:38 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Been there. It's worse in the motorhome because there's nowhere to put the dirty pans and plates except on top of the stove, so we have to get the washing up done before we can even have a cup of tea!

10.11.2025 09:56 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0We once booked a Travelodge for one night and spent only two hours in the room as the hotel was evacuated due to a fire in the restaurant next door. We slept in the car. Didn't get a discount on the price, either!
10.11.2025 09:51 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Hola CJ and ORCs from Castillo de Garcimiรฑoz, a tiny village east of Madrid, but it does have a motorhome aire. 2 days in central Madrid were fab, went to a gig, ate very well, walked in some lovely parks. Now we're heading for the coast to meet with fellow motorhomers. Have a great week, all.

Same. Also Dubai chocolate is nice, but over hyped and overpriced. It's just a Ritter Sport with pistachio.

07.11.2025 19:13 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 4 ๐ 0A traditional Cordovan patio. The ground is covered in a pebble mosaic. The 2 storey house, partly covered in ivy and other climbing plants, is painted white with blue windowframes. Dotted around are large terracotta plant pots containing well cared for shrubs.
Hola again from a slightly chilly but sunny Cordoba - we decided to stay another day and spent it just wandering around the old town. Not too busy, not too touristy, perfect weather. Today we're on the move, as we have a gig to go to in Madrid tomorrow. Have a great day, all.
