The Routledge Companion to Gender and Fatherhood offers a panoramic view of the fatherhood studies field. The volume gathers contributions from a range of disciplines and perspectives, taking fatherhood as a dynamic, multifaceted cultural symbol and as context-bound, embodied practice undertaken within systems of gendered social relations. It introduces a new generation of researchers and professionals to the field and showcases current research themes, aiming to galvanise new empirical and theoretical endeavours. Contact the editors if you would like to contribute a chapter!
