That being said I think he really needs to act on this because it's horrible. He's acted on so many issues like trans right and abortion, but I'm disappointed he's failing at this.

Exactly. To add to the point, language evovles and people's diction/language changes year by year. Getting so fucking upset at specific word when it's probably going to change is just a defensive layer, in my opinion. They don't care about the actual meaning behind the words.

Not at all, I think the flavor from cake dough is completely elevated and denser fried than baked in a pan. For example a blueberry cake donut is completely different than a blueberry muffin or cake.

I've made cakes from scratch many times for family. I have a few bites and I'm good.

wow. I don't like cake, but absolutely love cake donuts. I think yeast donuts are pretty good, though.
