I love old vintage tech, mainly focused on Macintosh computers. https://www.youtube.com/@HardwareHacker
For #DOScember I plan on making a video featuring a PowerMac 6100/66 DOS Compatible.
I'll be testing out two DOS Star Trek games and may do a comparison with the Mac versions of those games on the same PowerMac 6100/66

This @hackerboxes.bsky.social (#0117) is all about RFID: dual-frequency readers, writable tags, and an NFC dog tag you can program yourself.
Itβs a great intro if youβve ever been curious how contactless cards or badges really work.

I show up at time stamp 11:25 from the start of the stream

Looks like I haven't played in awhile.
I finished creating my BRB scene in OBS for use in future live streams
Whether can I get one with the great box?

13.09.2025 00:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So this unit has some sort of issue with the analog board and I highly suspect an issue with the floppy drive. I haven't looked inside the case yet but will do so when I get a chance. When I adjust the brightness knob the screen doesn't dim smoothly. Dimming past half it gets full dark.
Suggestions?
Don't feel bad about it John. Retro computing doesn't come cheep, especially these days with ebay prices and the Orange Doofus.
I have Patreon and Ko-Fi accounts, but I haven't advertised them due to lack of content.
Patreon is perfectly reasonable for you though because who doesn't love jank!
I'm now the proud owner of a Macintosh 512K

23.08.2025 22:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hot take: Tim Gunn was the best part of Project Runway. Inspired by him, on Saturday's noon eastern stream, we'll try to make these wrongly-spaced 30-pin SIMM sockets work to repair a SE/30 logic board... without the use of enameled wire.
