apparently it's been 4 years since Dean Stockwell passed. I dipped on the QL reboot in 1 episode because the hologram sucked. There is only one hologram, and that is Al. And there is only 1 scene that kept me awake and terrified and that was Dean Stockwell in Blue Velvet.

I know it's way old news, but Wally Kurth's picture in the opening credits is such joy. #GH

Bruce & I are well. We started our 30 days of walks for American Cancer Society fundraiser today. Hutch continues to live her best life. The Springsteen biopic depressed me. But I think I liked it. Still not sure. Hope you all are well.

Today in cat news: I couldn’t find Hutch. Looked through the house. Looked outside. Gave up hoped she’d come to her senses and come home. Then I noticed an open drawer. Hello kitty.

Just popping in long enough to catch up with the few real people that I care about and get depressed by the news. Isn't that just the modern internet in a nutshell.

Dr gave me an inhaler to use when I have coughing fits. It really helps but what would help even more is if the cough cleared up. I'm not feeling so sickly today and even went on a walk with Bruce.

I am sick and have a Dr appointment soon. My parents dropped off groceries. I went to meet them and help. "Don't you come out here!!" Mom yelled. Bruce didn't listen and slipped outside to say hi. He probably would have left with them!

Hutch was outside with me and Bruce when she encountered (from a distance) a big tough looking tom cat. She got very hissy. I was scared. She was scared. Bruce was scared. Overall, not the best time. We're all inside now.

I come on here to check up on a couple of friends and a cat or two. I end up having a panic attack at the state of the world. Back to: Yacht Rock: a dockumentary.

I've done 2.5 loads of laundry. Ran and emptied the dishwasher. Cleaned the fridge. Took out the trash and recycling. Figured out my work schedule for the week. I have a couple of things to do yet, but after yesterday's laziness I am positively productive.

Attempted to mow the lawn but the mower stalled out and won't restart. My neighbor thought I was out of gas (it did look that way) but I think the problem is that this is not the year for mowers. I already had to retire one and the one I'm using is pretty old and finicky.

Dropped a frozen chicken breast on my foot. My recommendation--don't do that. Called Dad. Woke him up. Poor guy. Not only is he in pain, he has an annoying daughter keeping him awake.

Today a husky walked up to my fence and said "Hello" to Bruce. Very friendly, like. Bruce wasn't thrilled, but he was polite enough. I followed it to the front of the house, phone in hand. A lady stopped her car and said she knew where Husky lived. She knocked on the door and Husky was returned home

Jane is the Queen, but Erika was amazing on OLTL. I feel spoiled for riches with this storyline. Even if 'long lost sister' isn't exactly the most shocking twist.

Having Erika Slezak backon my TV screen is making my One Life to Live loving heart so happy. Sometimes, when I'm nostalgic, I watch old OLTL clips of Viki's DID storylines. #GH

In other news-It doesn't matter how much I love Shock Theater, or how much Al is one of my favorite characters of all time, that rap is ridiculous.

My cousin has a mean cat. I met him once, he didn't like me, but I think he's a good cat. Just misunderstood. And mean. She told me she is organizing her affairs and wants me to care for him. Now, she is going to be around long after him, but I was touched. To be trusted with her buddy like that.

Stayed up watching #houseofsvengoolie after the show last night. Amityville 3-D is classic cinema, but I am very tired.

It was! I'm so glad I ventured out into the world!

Elvis Costello put on a great show last night. Loud, brash, flashing lights, rock'n'roll interspersed with acoustic moments. He can still bring it. He played all the classics, but my dream of hearing Radio Sweetheart is unfulfilled. Got a t-shirt.
