Bambu Lab Firmware Update Forces Cloud Dependency & User Lock-In - AVOID THEIR 3D PRINTERS!
This just popped up on YT feed: www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIya... for anyone else looking for a summary.

Itβs a real shame about Bambu. They do appear beginner friendly and cheap.
I was also looking at the Creality ones. Is there anything these donβt have that Bambu do?
The full enclosure is a benefit imo. (Curious cats around the house)

Well this is something I am not a fan off, even if they reverted these updates there is a lack of trust and nothing saying they wouldnβt attempt something like this again.
I have too many subscriptions as it is!

I'm seeing a lot of negativity around Bambu Labs at the moment.
Could anyone summarise the issue?
I am in the market for a affordable, beginner friendly (but decent) 3D printer, and was about buy a P1S, but this negativity is putting me off. Still worth it or should I consider an alternative?

Lots of lessons learned from filming the last event, so we can improve how we record the next one.
Feel free to give us your ideas too!
