Baffling, isn't it? It's December and we still haven't had a snowfall that I couldn't clear with a broom. Not that I'm complaining... and I CERTAINLY don't want to jinx anything! But if it's going to be this cold, shouldn't it be pretty, too? ❄️❄️❄️

People who get us just get us. Minds like ours are an acquired taste, so CONGRATULATIONS! You found your person! 😂 It's not easy to explain this sort of brain to strangers.

It's like my brain has a paywall that nothing can afford to get through. "Thank you for that brilliant idea, Brain! Add it to the pile and it will be ignored in the order in which it was received."

Get out of my head! I got progressively more tired as I wrote that, realizing it wasn't a terrible idea, it would almost run itself once it got started, and I had no energy or motivation to finish the thought, let alone think about how to build it. And I could! But I won't.

Okay, floofs.com is pretty awesome. You can build your own Bluesky instance with it and let other people add usernames to it for THEIR floofs. (@maddie.floofs.com? Yes, plz!) Then blog about it on the website to monetize the whole thing. Now it's going to pay for itself!

I posted about six things on Threads and got swarmed by the bots. Same problem on Instagram. It was impossible to filter and not worth the effort.

I don't understand a lot of it yet, but it makes a lot more sense than threads. I tried Mastodon and it was too... Mastodony? I mean how can something be federated and feel so disconnected at the same time?!
