In the process of figuring out how much color I’d want to incorporate into tattoo designs, since that’s been a key part of my art up till now (see sketch example below). Could I use very minimal color and still have a recognizable style? Hope to keep working toward an answer ✨ #illustration

I've done a couple of tattoos on skin so far! They're nothing to write home about in terms of complexity or style, but I'm proud of myself for getting to that first-time-on-skin milestone. Now I have a better idea of I want to focus on to get better.

Just ordered more supplies I'll need to tattoo on real skin! I've heard from multiple people that it's actually way easier than on practice skin, so that makes it less intimidating #qttr
