Same issue. I began to overanalyze the hours I worked and what counted as actual work, since some of the work we do can't be quantified. Two things that have worked for me (besides Jordan's)
1. Using a tracker for a week to gauge averages in research, teaching, service
2. Working from my office

I want my students to practice teaching phonics to each other with a fake alphabet to get a more "authentic" experience (i.e., errors).
