This art features 100 bees of various colors and shapes.
These bees are designed in a cartoonish style, based on real species. The common name or species is written below the animals.
Some bees are moving leaves, scraping plant hair, or sticking out their tongues. Some male bees have hairy faces and unusually shaped legs. There are also baby bees that have just hatched from their petal nests. Cute and colorful atmosphere. There are over 20,000 species of bees, so I only depicted a very small fraction of them!

I had a delicious looking set of starburst-themed dice that I built from the depths of a Pound-o-Dice.

I love the nonhumans in the Children of Time series because it's just the author flexing their psychology and zoology degrees in tandem.

Anthony Bourdain published a book that mentioned shallots making restaurant cuisine taste better. Slowly, over years, home cooks would read Bourdain, latch onto the idea. Then they wouldn't shut up about shallots, so they entered the public consciousness.

Not just game devs. Their own past selves. They think they're better than they used to be.

Are they? Who knows. But if you're going to do something for twenty or more years, you have to believe that you're getting better at it.

I'm only fortunate that I stumbled upon Worm during a very slow couple months for my employer at the time. Otherwise it would have tanked my entire life.

My issue is that I very rarely get myself to actually read. But when I do, all moderation goes out the window. I can't be relied upon for anything until I'm done.

I've resorted to smaller novels and short stories because I can't be trusted not to burn down an entire week or two for anything lengthy

Worryingly, it's also a skill you can *lose*

I used to be able to read entire novels, but now I have a much harder time of it - I'm beginning to think I should set aside time for Reading Time using books so I can't alt tab.

(Thank god for audiobooks, I can still do those)
