Stylised pop art illustration of John Farnham in his signature 80s blonde mullet, smiling broadly against a summery blue background with palm trees. He holds a pink watermelon cocktail. The artwork includes the text β€œTwo Strong Hearts, Reaching Out Forever Like A River To The Sea.”

38 yrs after "Two Strong Hearts" was filmed in QLD, one of it's most memorable lyrics may soon be outlawed in the Sunshine State. Whilst it's still legal - here's Farnsey in full 80s mullet glory - and featuring the v naughty words πŸ‰πŸ‰πŸ‰ | Prints/tees: tinyurl.com/juudj7p6

Oh thank you for thinking of me. Such a loss - I'm still so sad about it. I'll certainly give it some thought. Milner too (with his blessing!) xx

"the dow is over 50,000 right now"

I don't think I've ever heard such a callous, contemptuous, EVIL response to a question about child rape. may those words follow her for the rest of her pathetic days.

Illustrated political poster showing the silhouette of QLD in bold blood red, textured like a lino print. Large hand-lettered text across the state reads, β€œFrom Brisbane River to Moreton Bay, I’ll decide what you can say!” A caricature of Queensland Premier David Crisafulli looms from the top right, looking down at the map. His finger presses into the lower part of Queensland, denting the surface and breaking a placard in half.

Up to 2 years in prison for saying β€œfrom the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” - that’s the legislation currently before Queensland Parliament under the Crisafulli government. They’re going to have to build more prisons before we choose to be silent about genocide.

Political illustration of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese seated inside a car, pointing and speaking dismissively. Through the car window behind him are protest signs reading β€œDeclare recognition of the State of Palestine,” β€œCancel the weapons contracts,” β€œSanction Israel,” β€œExpel the ambassador,” and β€œBack the ICJ case against Israel,” with Parliament House visible in the background. Albanese wears US and Israeli flag pins on his lapel. A speech bubble from him reads: β€œYeah ok, I get it… genocide, but please! We have some social cohesion to focus on here!”

The language of β€œsocial cohesion” was never neutral. It was a calculated, callous move to silence dissent on Palestine. You can keep it. Decent Australians demand justice, international law upheld, and an end to our complicity with a rogue apartheid state committing genocide.

Hand-drawn protest poster featuring a black koala raising its middle finger. Below, bold red and black text reads β€œGENOCIDAL STATES ARE NOT MATES.” The style is rough, stencil-like, and printed on textured off-white paper.
