For a while it was probably musical artist Ben Harper (same class as me; no we didn't hang out). Now it's probably Jay Bhattacharya (same debate team, but a couple years ahead of me).

Ouch. I've heard of that, but not (yet) had the pleasure of that experience.

My record is one that got short listed and then stayed in the queue for 956 days, at which point they finally rejected it. I also have one that was accepted in 2017 but took another six years to be published. Tracking these is like its own sport.
