Chicken 🐓. Lots of chicken. Supposed to lay off the beef (🥩 was my go-to three years ago.) we also eat a lot of steelhead normally but now we’re eating thru Coho salmon at the moment (that wife caught.)

Closed now nearly a year. It has opened and closed many times but this may be it.

Sometimes we used to access this approach to get to lower dream canyon and the Berlin Wall for climbing rather than approach from the top. That was twenty years and more ago.

I didn’t expect to be so moved. Pleasant surprise.

Lightning pierced the sky & looming shadows flashed before my eyes then rain fell like ichor from the clouds loosed of their burden. Big fat drops struck my face & shoulders as I walked sounding a pitter patter on the ground. Now a smell, no longer the dusty dry trail smell just the promise of life.

Yes indeed yet the experience of actual petrichor is better than a thing that deliquesces. 👍🤪

So few opportunities to use it but I love saying it. How many words have such a great mouth feel? An amuse-bouche of words

Once autodigestion commences it’s over. One of the best words ever is deliquesce. 👍

One or two days per moon cycle I get a chance to improve on my moonfisher photography!
