The Chimera still was a dangerous and unpredictable monster, she only was killing a demon because the demon picked a fight with her, likely wanting her soul. She normally would be hunting, being an equal threat to people just due to how hostile she can be.

Now that she had healed, she saw him making a run for it and began to chase after him. She isn’t going to let him just run away from her, no she’s going to hunt him down…

The Chimera could be seen on top of a rooftop, having torn a demon to ribbons, likely one that attempted to attack Falin…

She currently was unaware of the member of Huntrix, so she had no reason to attack yet…

He is free to try, but she’s not going to make it easy to defeat the Chimera.

She raised her hands back up, ready to do another spell against him.

She would survive

Either back with her party, human again, or still a monster roaming the dungeon…

Now that she had some range, she put her hands out and shot several fire balls around him before casting a healing spell on herself to heal the small wounds he had given her so far, removing all progress he made in the fight…

She recognized the dark magic as a threat and immediately began to scurry away, using her wings to also try and make a gust of air to push the deity back.

Despite her size, she was quite fast despite having an injured leg.

She would jump back and blocked the beams of magic with her wings, leading to her wing being injured.

She was just getting angrier the more he landed hits on her.

She used a bit more magic to cause the ground to form spikes shooting in all directions attempting to skewer him.

It’s less of her having been actually nice, and more of a threatened monster giving a warning to back off.

She would fire another blast of lightning at the deity, if she was able to, she could ah e stayed in the air and shot lightning, but unfortunately her wings aren’t strong enough to carry her.

So this monster can use magic it seems…

The swing did hit, but it only grazed the Chimera’s front leg, drawing a little blood but that was all…

All this did was piss her off, she tried to be nice and try and scare him off, now he attacks her?

She began to raise her arms and chanted something before lightning shot out at the deity.

She’ll eventually be back after the event is done, though I don’t know if I’ll have her just appear with Makima’s corpse, or appear somewhere in the world like she reincarnated

Upon seeing he wasn’t intimidated into fleeing, she immediately began to attack, her front Dragonic claw crashing down in an attempt to crush the deity.

Upon seeing him look at her, she stood as tall as she could, spreading her wings out and staring him down.

She’s attempting to intimidate him into fleeing, since she can tell there’s something off about him…

There was very little noise after that, but if he were to peek out again from the bush, he would notice her standing right in front of the bush, staring down at him.

Falin immediately began to search for whatever was watching her, her movements were surprisingly quiet for such a large monster.

She would not find him in the immediate area and returned back to the lake, but didn’t rest like before, she just waited…

The creature currently resting appeared to have the lower half of a dragon, and the upper half of a woman, with feathers on both halves.

By the time he would get close enough to watch, her head snapped up and the Chimera stood up, knowing she wasn’t alone…

There were reports recently of a wild beast out there, causing destruction and harm to those in its path, many adventurers have either died, or come back injured after encountering this Chimera…
