Every time a quality monster catching game comes everyone likes to dunk on Pokémon (as they should) but let’s be real, no one is unseating Pokémon from being the top dog in this genre. And Pokémon’s head is too far up its own ass to care or adapt until a trend is a dozen years old.

It deserves every bit of praise that it gets. For blending so many genres, it does it exceedingly well. And as far as fans — we are few but we are dedicated. 😌

lol I def loved doing that in the first game. Now I challenge myself to carry only one weapon of each type. But with the grenade pouch and ammo backpack pouch, I find those are usually enough to get me to my destination.

I know there’s the PlayStation Portal but I really don’t play my PS5 that much and most of my games are physical. Being stuck with only the game in the disc drive makes it moot for me.

Death Stranding 2 has the it factor for me. There’s something I adore so much about deliberate planning for a mission and improvising when it doesn’t go to plan. I also love the feeling of isolation while contributing to the game’s world. I adore spending time in this universe.

It really is and I hate how social media pushes the negativity. This is a great series that has sold quite well yet the only voices we hear are the negative ones. Anyway, a game doesn’t have to be revolutionary to be good and this series does a damn good job at what it sets out to do.

As someone who generally laments the market obsession with multiplayer games, this actually looks pretty good. I’m interested. Also, don’t check the comments on the same post on that other site. Sheesh…

Yeah, it’s pretty fun. The story just didn’t click with me for the most part and definitely shouldn’t be taken seriously like 80% of the time lol.

It had a real story, but I can’t see it but anything but a big, long filler episode. Majima’s motivations are there but they could have used a better story to deliver that message. As a big fan of the series, I don’t recommend this game. Watch it on YouTube lmao.

Nowhere near done with Death Stranding 2 but I can tell I’m going to miss it dearly. And I’m already chasing the high it gives me when I can’t be near my PS5. Recently released Cairn comes close but I hear Snowrunner comes close. Anyone have experience with Snowrunner?

I love these games and wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. I’d say be careful if you want to continue to love these games. 😅
