If you watch the entire video of this, one thing stands out...Ilhan Omar NEVER backs down. She doesn't even take a step back, instead she moves toward the fight and that says everything about who she is. Fearless! Her constituents are lucky to have her.

This is just misleading. There is a big difference between saying state resources can’t be used to enforce fed’l civil immigration policy & local cops refusing to assist fed’l partners in an emergency. Deliberately conflating the two is disingenuous.

This is how “straight” reporting distorts the news. Trump says he wants an “honest” investigation. But the DOJ is not doing an independent investigation, and, instead, CBP will be investigating its own officers. Sounds like it could be a rigged inquiry. Trump’s “vow” is worthless PR.

The president can say anything. It's what he DOES that is important. Right now, Tom Homan is headed for Minnesota. It is important to remember that this is the guy that created FAMILY SEPARATION. So, what they are DOING does not match what they are SAYING. There is no change in "tone" here.
