Well, if the 99% rejection rate is accurate, they’re definitely an obligation that wasn’t being fulfilled until Biden relaxed the application rules.

And I’ll reiterate my point that having your attempt at fulfilling your promise blocked by SCOTUS isn’t the same as turning your back on a promise.

So I guess we can’t agree, because I think there’s a big difference between “breaking a promise and pretending you fulfilled it” and “having your attempt to fulfill your promise blocked by SCOTUS and then focusing on other ways to do as much as possible to help people.”

I read that article and it doesn’t say what you’re claiming. For example, it says most of the loan forgiveness came from borrower defense.
