Which reminds me of this graphic I made a few years ago for a project I was working on (around 2022, so the numbers are a bit old) ... It's not even fair to call what Republicans did a "tax cut" when 60% of us actually ended up with a tax increase. #ncpol

Remember that Republican income tax cuts at the state level don't save you money when you end up paying substantially more in local taxes, and even more in other state taxes like service taxes. The Republican tax plan of the past 15 years has been bad for NC. Period.
