What a year for the tablet market! 2025 started out with inventory pull-ins due to US tariffs, and ended with inventory pull-ins due to DRAM and NAND shortages.

The net result for the year? Higher shipments and higher ASPs.

There's a lot of work being done at TechInsights on covering Intel Foundry's 18A process node, and the Panther Lake client SoC built on it—I would know, I'm 4,000 words into my draft and it's still not done.
