You should check out Break!! if you haven't already. They kind of invert the Into the Odd approach and have only attack rolls. With fixed damage on hits and additional damage on crits, and variable crit range by weapon type.

I've toyed with wound systems before as well. What drove you to change it?

Printed some of @castlegrief.bsky.social's OSR zines this weekend

The United States Space Force released an image taken from the orbiting Boeing X-37B military spacecraft. The release was made on the DoD media sharing site DVIDS.

I printed the original 3 OD&D booklets + Chainmail (and Reference Sheets). It’s not amazing print quality, but works perfectly as table reference and to read through. I much prefer something printed vs a PDF. These will join me on my Europe trip. #ODnD #DnD #ttrpg #OSR #ttrpgs

I've released the Outdoor Survival Scaffolder - a tool that automatically generates lairs, monsters and treasure based off the terrain of the classic OD&D wilderness map!

Something always missing from ultra-streamlined little OSR rules is the unmatched vibe you get from having absurd phrases like “save versus death ray” and “constitution adjustment” written on a character sheet.
