The firewise recommendations for here want everything cleared to 5ft, 10ft for most plants above shrub. It's not realistic when our house is 10ft from neighbors. And we have to get rid of all compost/mulch coverings in favor of rock if it's in that zone.

Our neighbors want to put more in. I hope with the new firewise recommendations that a tree person tells them they shouldn't.
