I was so excited to get this in the mail today, even though I've never run a tabletop game before. I just love classic Phantasy Star that much.

They look just like how the cards would look when they appeared in the anime. Those are very cool fakes, at least haha.

I am personally begging everyone who cares to read graphic novel Lucas Wars, which just released and tells the full story of how George Lucas created Star Wars. It is so good.

I think trying to make art in a genre you don't inherently enjoy would probably increase the odds of a unique result. You would approach it from a different mindset compared to all the enthusiasts working in the same space. (Whether that unique art is actually *good* could be worked out later!😅)
