When developing our game TRAILS, a lot of time was spent on improvements and polish, but the crucial first step was a prototype that was created in less than a week!

Same here 😅 Especially if you already have a vision in mind for some part of the game it is so tempting to start there to see the vision come to life...

But in prototyping you have to focus on the parts that you are _the_least_ certain about to see whether you can make them work!

Even though we are only a small studio, as neurodivergent devs we care about making our games as accessible as possible.

* added option to remove controller button icons
* touch devices can be used properly on the overworld
* no errors anymore when pressing CTRL while drawing a path
* timeline animation
* significantly improved performance on low-end hardware
* locking paths indicated more clearly

One more thing: What I like about 3 and 5 is that they are self-contained and can work on different backgrounds, with the others the lettering needs specific backgrounds to work well. though with the others you can also use the graphic without the lettering if you want.

2 feels like too much going on for me in the current state but could also be interesting.

4 is a bit unbalanced right now but I do like the clear silhouette.

5-7 look really nice and have a cozy but mystic vibe.

I think my personal favourites are 3 and 5-7. but 5 could work really well as a logo.

Uhhh, they all look nice already!

To me 3 and 5 have a very different vibe to all the others.

3 actually jumped out at me first and I like how the ettering is in the center and the actions jumps out from it.

5 feels a bit tamer than most others but looks clean and soft.
