For months I've been recreating the Nautilus Vulcania map. Going from a scan from the Maps of the Disney Parks book, a lot of 100 MP photos I've taken and hours in Photoshop and Illustrator I'm happy to share it with all of you!

This is a photo by Jack Lynch of the Pinball Machine. The riders on board are agents of the United States Secret Service when presumptive presidential nominee Jimmy Carter visited the park. This image has a good view of the slotted floor, which hid the ride system and track below. Notice the reflection of the "BONUS PLAY" sign in the background; the doorway underneath led to another scene in the ride.

Straight ahead are some props such as light bulbs, circuits, and coins used to operate the pinball machine. The coins have a picture of H.R. Pufnstuf with the motto "IN LOVE WE TRUST."

Pinball Machine was a highlight of The World of Sid and Marty Krofft.

Riders huddled in pinball ride vehicles, gliding along 700 feet of track. The four-minute ride clanked around the playfield. It rolled into a flashy Bonus Play area and into the recesses of the unit along its gears and coins.

I’m so grateful for this run of soundtrack releases when Vince started experimenting with those soft electric piano sounds. Fingers crossed they keep doing well and we get all of his specials out there.
