Frustrating night. Started really well but Ossett scored at crucial times. We switched off for their equaliser. They kept battling. Not many chances. Clements' sending off after final whistle will cause us problems. Ref never seemed in control. Good #PatheticCasuals attendance.

Where are Steeple Sinderby in the @EmiratesFACup today? In a literary quirk, JL Carr did not have a 4R Qualifying, and so they go straight into the draw for the 1st Round Proper on Monday 👌

Was so excited to have a nosy around @bpafcofficial.bsky.social's former Park Ave ground during the week, and what remains of the old covered terrace behind the goal. So evocative. Painted floodlight concrete blocks, counted c. 41 steps, toilet block & pre-decimal pricing.

The Ferriby lads were on fire last night. Kept 12 match unbeaten BPA at bay. Game of few chances but we pushed well in the 2nd half. Charlie Clements once again added another dimension. Stars across the pitch and we kept up the tempo. Most enjoyable night.

Game of two halves, today. Absorbed pressure in the 1st w/ top defence and were class in the 2nd. Charlie Clements was inspired coming off the bench. Top performance all round especially Sam Aynsley, Louis Kirk, Josh Whiteley and some fancy footwork from Lewis Dennison. 💚

It's Steeple Sinderby FA Cup action today...

Steeple Sinderby are away to Tampling Athletic, from the Southern Prem, in the FA Cup 3rd R Qualifying. They take 4 coaches. Tampling fans "bellowed disbelief at incompetence" as they went down 0-3. Here's some of the action. Goals from unknown, Sid Swift and R. W. Hutton.

Excited to be down at the all new Kit Kat Crescent for my partner's beloved Carlisle United vs York. Always good to get a copy of Y front too. Keeping tabs on North Ferriby away, obvs.

Today's #FanzineoftheDay is one of the big Sheffield Wednesday fanzines, Spitting Feathers. Some things never change, we join the gang in a dudgeon with Danny Wilson sacked and the club seemingly in freefall. You're still in the premier league lads, just but lighten up a bit!

I accidentally dropped one of the cans before handing them over, so could have been extra fun cracking it open in the dressing room.

A lad in the U18s had a pair lsst night too in the FA Youth Cup. They are most eye-catching.

Was really pleased to present 4 cans of supermarket lager to Elliot Walker, our August player of the month, on Saturday. He's settled really well in the middle alongside Kiirky. Loving those silver boots too. Bravo, fella.
