Yep, it’s just poorly written, unfortunately! Ik some disabled ppl r being frustrated of the fact that said spaces are being overrun by able-bodied neurodivergent ppl & having harder time finding connections with fellow ppl of similar struggles so this is prob the intent. We need better wordings 😭

My comic went through a massive rewrite and left one important empty pair of shoes to fill up so I gave the said role to a certain mage. Apparently that role turns out to be far bigger and crucial to the story than I’ve ever anticipated so yeah!! I’m excited for my readers to meet him very soon!!

Many thanks for this insight. I do appreciate the solace now haha, I just happen to be surrounded by people who are successful and making a living off their published webcomics (webtoon/hiveworks/etc) hence my view being a lil skewed but tbf i also don’t know what’s going in their lives !!

Adding on: I do get what you means btw! That make more sense but I just can’t wrap my head around the fact that it’s necessary to have two jobs to make it work that it’s not possible for me meet this level of expectation to make it work ;;

Character limit is hard! I means a dream job as a freelancer as I’ll never draw comics for living because i need health isurance on me for rest of my life. Doing comics after work isn’t really a job to me but a side gig unless it earns more then I’ll probably have a different opinion by then!
