I didn’t go for 8 years after a bad experience. But now I have a great dentist that I really like and I’ve kept up with going.

My unpopular opinion is doing the right thing for the wrong reason (in this case corporations promoting Pride) generally still nets positive. Yes they’ve profited off of Pride, but also increased visibility of the queer community. In the end, while imperfect, it’s still achieved positive outcomes.
