This year's KOSRO Conference featured a seminar on ultra-hypofractionated RT, with JS Chang discussing breast cancer, H Nagar presenting on prostate cancer, and R Timmerman speaking about PULSAR.

Twoarc trial compared 50.4 Gy in 28 fxs vs. 33 Gy in 10 fxs in neoadjuvant CCRT for rectal cancer. This trial is recently published in Annals of Surgery #RectalCancer

SHARE trial compared 66 Gy in 33 fxs vs. 65 Gy in 26 fxs for salvage RT for biochemical recurrence after prostatectomy. The cohort has not yet matured for the primary outcome. Moderate hypoRT with 65 Gy was associated with increased GI toxicity. #ProstateCaner

JAMA Oncology graphic shows an RCT study on PSMA-PET-Guided Intensification of Salvage Radiotherapy. It details the study's population (128 men), intervention(PSMAiSRT vs control), findings(improved survival), locations(2 centers in Canada), and outcomes.

A phase 2 trial demonstrated an isotoxic improvement in #cancer control with prostate-specific membrane antigen positron emission tomography-guided intensification of salvage RT after radical prostatectomy.

My institution has some experience for 29-30Gy SIB boost, though not evaluated extensively. For breast swelling and chronic edema, this gets more concerns when the patients has large breast, and East Asian population has a tendency to have small breasts.

Dr. Cheng reported 30Gy/26Gy/5fx SIB tumor bed boost for whole breast irradiation on behave of her colleagues in Beijing. I have a few words for this. #ASTRO25

LoRD-KNeA trial observed efficacy of low-dose RT in knee arthritis. 4-month response rates were 58.3% (0.3 Gy) vs. 70.3 (3 Gy) vs. 41.7% (0 Gy, sham), provides objective evidence for the efficacy of low-dose RT. Really proud of prof. Byoung Hyuk Kim! #ASTRO25
