Samuel L. Jackson looking like a million bucks with a suit with subtitle "Write ISO C++ Paper". The same actor looking a bit crazy and disheveled with a tank top with subtitle "Discuss in committee". Implication is that you feel good writing a fantastic paper, but the relentless and unfriendly critiques one gets in committee puts one in survival mode.

77.8% of those polled consider memory safety to be either important or essential in their future use of C++.
The #1 concern about C++'s future is excessive language complexity, followed by lack of progress on memory safety. This last section is interesting to read in its entirety.
Conan adoption increased to 23% from 19% where Vcpkg adoption has remained relatively stable at 20% (from 19%).
Bazel usage has dropped to 5.7% from 10% and CMake adoption has increased slightly (84.2% from 83.2%).π§΅
My observations on the isocpp survey results:
7.9% of respondents said "Interop with memory-safe languages (e.g., Rust, Go, C#, Java)" is a tool relied on for managing code safety in C++.
20% of respondents said Rust is used in their current and recent projects, up from 18.37% last year.π§΅

A man marked "you" standing in front of a billboard with photographs of Hitler and an ally. The billboard states "What have you done today to help save your country from them?"
At root of Dr. Seuss's cartoons was a call to action that ultimately awakened America's sense of justice and heroism. Dr. Seuss is a patriot worth remembering and worth emulating.

Getting Americans to internalize and act upon the unbelievable truth was a recurring theme of his cartoons. π§΅

Don't really do the "TheOneYouWantToHire" thing. It's a bit cringe for most hiring managers IMO :-D

I'm surprised they defunded the Small Business Administration (SBA). That's a pretty popular program.
I haven't found anything suggesting tax cuts so far, but I've heard pundits imply that this bill includes tax cuts for the rich. If anyone has insights I'd be curious.

I'm trying to make sense of the bill that just got passed in the Senate.
