I’ve been binging Holby City from the start & I don’t think I have any mutuals on here who love the show but I’ve just got to Jac’s first episode & she’s just as delicious as ever.

As a young child, a dinner lady berated me for drawing in chalk on a school path and made me wash it off. Now, as a teacher in the same school, I frequently get the kids drawing in chalk on the same path as a low level fuck you to the old bat

Dear politicians (on both sides of the pond): you cannot fight a philosophy centred on the idea that some people are less human than others by treating some people as less human than others. Fighting a party which supports that philosophy is pointless if in the process you become identical.

I enjoyed it to start with but after several series I kinda lost interest — I did binge it though so I may have got on with it for longer if I’d taken my time with it 😂

If you're using AI to write essays, eulogies, a text to your wife, I do think less of you as a person. Ceding your mental and creative abilities to a machine is an embarrassing thing and people should be ashamed to admit doing it in public.

Today I was finally given my own key to the library, which means I now have access to ALL OF THE BOOKS ALL OF THE TIME 🙌🏻
