Caught the Springsteen movie last night. It’s a solid, if uninspiring portrayal of the Boss’s recording of the Nebraska album. A lot of Bruce wrestling with his demons, flashbacks to his contrasting relationships with his parents & tensions with his record company. #FilmSky

I have just discovered that the actor who plays Bruce’s mother also played Maizy Russell the youngest daughter in Uncle Buck. Now I feel very old 😬

ACT railed against this politicisation. The Party saw what was happening. Marxist ideology where everything is a matter of colonisation and class struggle was writ large in the four ‘big ideas.’ It was using a children’s curriculum to advance an adult political project.

You're not allowed to view history through any lens but his. Certainly not from the perspective of "the enemy", unions and leftists.
